
Why to Slow Down?

Because it is a very effective skill for problem solving. When we do slow down, we manage anxious thoughts and give our brain a pause to reconstruct a strategy to solve an issue. Strategies to Slow DownSome of them you may have learned to do already, for example,deep breathing. Some are new but worth to try them. Practice makes perfect!
■ Couting objects around you
■ Visualization of being in a calm nice place
■ Deep breathing and counting up to 8 or 10 when you exhale
■ Relaxation
■ Meditation and being aware what do I feel right now
■ Walking at least 1 time a week for 40-55 min.
